was chatting with germs the other dae...n we've both agreed that being an auditor is not just about auditing the client's work...its more of a 'do everything' aka 'bao ga liao' job!!

think of it...
1. you must be an auditor (aft all...tats the basic requirement to be called one!),that is to do your job with the necessary knowledge and expertise in this area, able to perform our job with professional skepticism etc etc...

2. u need to hv gd PR skills so as to communicate with the clients,not pissing them off when asking vital qns to assist in ur audit,and also to try to maintain gd relationships with them so that they'll continue to engage ur service for at least the next few yrs (since there's a limit of 5 yrs before they nid to rotate auditors agains)..and most imptly..do NOT piss them off!n this includes having gd interpersonal skills!able to communicate well with ur colleagues n managers n partners etc (basically means muz be able to find the right things to sae and keep the conversation going etc)and juz talk talk talk talk...

3. you need to be able to perform admin duties as well...doing despatch,sending out mails,printing things out n compiling,calling ppl to confirm attendance etc etc...many things!

4.ohh..muz b strong...u nid to carry ur laptops and the files and many many things to bring it to the client's place or to bring it back to the office!

5. somehow u'll end up being someone's PA...helping them to do their stuff as well...

and i think there's more to come but i cant think of wad else for noww..so yupp..thats basically an auditor for u!

on a side note..failed FTT!saddedsss!!=( oh wells..to continue looking at the bright side of things..perhaps im not that prepared yetss..i reckon im supposed to try everything twice!basic twice, ftt twice practical twice...HAHA!!=P

it all started with a casual remark by qiu saying that her sis goes to mcritchie to train for marathon de...so i tot..y not jio e rest to train there for this yr's marathon??
so yes i did...jioed kelvin,bossy,qi n jeff and asked them whether do they wanna train together for marathon!! 'lets go to mcritchie to train for marathon!lets go there every sundae!' so they said ok..or rather everyone did except jeff who din reply!!hahahha!!
so here we are on a sunday morning...waking up at 7 plus..heading to mcritchie to start 1st training!we were supposed to meet at 9am there..haha..but me n bossy reached super early (830am!) and decided to racki the place...saw many monkeys!and saw squirrels too!!n thats when bossy asked me..so wad route shall we run?OOPss!!me nv tot of that...haha..and all i along i tot since army guys shld noe this place well so they shld agar noe wadd...but well...it seemed that im supposed to noe where to go..soo ohh wellss..i looked at the directional signboards..n there it was indicated '5.0km to HSBC tree top walk' thinking that since tt wld help us gauge the distance we'll run plus my everdearest bro sae 'u go mcritchie ah...muz go see the tree top walk!' so okiess that shall be our ops plan for the dae!run 5.0km and den we take a rest/walk at the tree top walk!!

so when qi n kelvin arrived.we started our run!our starting pt's sorta near this place!pretty huh?!
at 1st it was some sorta walking path..so it was an uphill and there were steps...nth too muchh..either..den we reached a junction..where to go?looking at the map...it seems like we had to run thru the forest to get to where we wanted!!and here e adventure begins!
imagine running in the forest and super uneven grounds...muddy,uneven with loads of rocks..i reckon its more of a trekking trail huh?and to top it off..there's loads of slopes!!steep ones,gentle ones,humps...and each time u encounter an upslope...very soon u'll get a downslope..and vice versa!so imagine the route man!!haha...me n qi were so freaking tiredd le..i ended up walking quite abit i muz sae..and each time we're juz looking fwd to seeing THE tree top walk..haha...den on e way bossy keep laffing at me...sae 'tree top wadd...there's a meaning for it' he's trying to imply tt we nid to go up up up!!HAHAHA..
on the way up..seriously wonder how come ppl can run on such grounds mannn..haha..and most of the time u see ang mohss(very lil singaporeans i reckon..haA!) in the area!haha!anw..so aft many many upslopes and downslopes..and many many many false alarms of 'i think we're here!'...we FINALLY reached THE TREE TOP WALK!(seriously i keep saying i wanna kill my bro when i get home for convincing me that e tree top walk's worth seeing!HAHA!)
too bad din hv camera up there...so cldnt take pics!dammit!we were saying muz psycho ning they all to come..enjoy the run with us!(ning r u glad u din join us?!haha!)anw..so the tree top walk's juz a bridge sorta cutting thru and allowing u to observe nature..i wont sae at its finest..but its not baddd!
and this is part of the brochure we gt at the tree top trail place...to certify that we reached here!!haha!!!and this is THE TRAIL..haha!!

soo aft enjoying ourselves at THE place..den i realise...shitto!!we nid to track 5km back to where we started to get our bags and stuff!!omg!!HAHA!!hilarious mann!!so it was really a time to enjoy naturee le...hahaa..or at least i trying to convince them to enjoy the walk..wahahaz!!so walk walk walk walk...and walk walk walk walk...den finally we reached another water catchment area..which was near SICC..haha...and tat's when we saw my many many jin guis!!hahaha!!!okiess..tho bossy was quite dl that there was soo much water ard but we cant drink them..haha..den walk walk walk..den shit!nid to cut thru the forest againss...b4 we can finally reach the road!bossy even commented that 'i can feel haoyi's dulan-ness' haha!!i oso think haoyi will dulan me and niao3 all the way should he hv joined us on this crazy trip...haha!!

the forest even had a fitness corner where they tried to do pull ups laa..HAHA!!damnn furnieee..and den i saw '0.2km to lornie road'..chiongggg ahhh!!hahahaha!!upslope and den a downslope..and finally the ROADD!!hahaa!!and den qi said..'there's abt 2km more to get back la' *faints*

so we're not thereee yet..we're juz..almost theree..so walk walk walk and talk talk talk...and aft ages..we're finally backk!!omgg!!water!100plus!wahaha!!

SO there it is..on 26th August 2007...4 brave souls (idiots?haha!) braved thru Mcritchie reservoir and ran/walked like 12km!!wootzz!!and prata idea was abandoned cos the silly gal dunno wad e road name is..haha..and bossy the suaku sae go amk hub cos he nv go b4!!haha!!so we went!!!and ate alott!!

well..made a trip back to ntu tdy for NTUCO welcome tea...and it brought back loads of memories sia!juz looking at the ppl walking to and fro(most prob ending lessons by the time i reach ntu)...along the pathways...in the canteens...it reminds me of the gd old days i had in sch!!i misss the times i had to walk frm hall13/15 all the way to south spine,i miss the times i spent juz walking ard the sch,i miss the times i hv lessons with my frens and talk cock/gossip wadsoever aft lessons ended,i miss the times i go to n fro NIE juz to swim etc,i miss the times i nid to walk and climb up to nyh..i miss the night walks aft co ends late...i miss the talk cock sessions up at nyh/suppers at can2,i miss playing my erhu with ntuco,i miss the times when i spend so much time in hall,be it alone or with my dear frens/roomies, i miss the times juz having to spend my dinner time at can14 or wadeva canteens there are..i miss the times we meet up for dinner oh so often,i miss the times i go nite jogging with my khakis/alone,i miss the times i went up to ADM juz to croon songs n talk cock,i miss the times we had supper together,i miss the times when we studied together,i miss the times where i had the time to decide for myself wad i wanna do for the dae,i miss the times i get to stay up late and game with my frens,i miss the times i hv the quiet nites to myself,i miss the times...i miss..everything!=( so many memories ehzz..it feels different not to be part of this oh so familiar environment...its really a big leap huh?

spent my national day with qiu..haha!we went to catch 'The Piano Tuner of Earthquakes'..a show part of the film festival or something...we're damn stunned by the show!!cos both of us practically HUHHH frm the start till the end of the show!was forcing myself to stay awake cos i was hoping by the end of the show i noe wads gg on..but apparently not!haha...still beri HUHHhh now..haa..went to google n wikipedia it..

haoyi aka momf left for shenzhen le!booo..den nex wk(to be confirmed) yen's turn..ahh!!!!booo hooooo!!=( hope everything turns out welll for them!a new beginning to a new chpt in life!=D

had the chance to wander ard alone at city hall/esplanade area in the afternoon b4 meeting up with e rest..haha..it was kinda great...cld sort my tots out to some extent of cos..hees..n definitely memories lingered...shall keep those memories close...

its so weirdss...weirds tt sch's starting n im not starting sch!!its so different!!wAHH!!no moree rushing ard for lessons...no more long breaks..no more photostating/printing notes..no more add/drop..no more cursing/swearing at the lousy STARS system..etc etc..(i think if i really wanna sae..it can continue forever n ever..haha)ahh!!so weirdss!!
starting to miss sch loads loadss...n its weird that ive gt frens who are stil studying n im not..ahh..so weirddsss!!
btw...MOS totally sux now!BAHHH!!so disappointed with that place!!=( feel like gg mambo mambo mamboooo!!!!haven been mambo-ing for a longgg timee...hMmm...haha!

went jubilee with kiat ydaee!!went for food at bbtea shop!YUMz!!!=D den we watched simpsons..caught a few gd trailers too!!mr woodcock(weird name man!),hairspray(a must watch for me!!RETROOOO!) n ratatouille (i FINALLY gt to see the full trailer for this show man..looks nice tooo!!)..feel like watching all thiss!!hees!!excitedd!!anw simpsons was quite furnie as well..hahaz..laffed quite hard at some stuff..n lisa is freaking furnie laa...bth..haha!!
had a nice n interesting chat with kiat...was more interested in the lives of her frens den hers (OOPS!!)..haha...no la...but this fren of hers has an interesting love life..its amazing how he gt thru it..at least survived till now...powerr!haha..n kiat has another interesting fren who has a how to say..interesting perspective of love..haha...interesting interesting!haha..n of cos i was concerned abt the love life of our dear ms hiang kiat laa!!hahaha!!=P hoping things will go well for her!=D
